In the summer of 1995, young Vanessa Paul and Cash Axton made a promise to always stay together. But autumn arrived in Dixon Falls with an event that would separate them by thousands of miles, ultimately causing their memories of each other to fade. 

As an adult, Vanessa’s dream life in New York City shatters when she’s fired and dumped in a single afternoon. She heads to Dixon Falls to claim the farmhouse she inherited, her plan to stay in Montana just long enough to sell it. Then comes along the grumpy but oh-so-sexy cowboy next door to throw a wrench in the works.   

When Cash returned to his hometown, what he wanted most was a drama-free life. Instead, he’s stuck with the mound of debt and failing cattle ranch his father left him. There’s also his new neighbor, an aggravating city woman with a smart mouth and curves he can’t ignore. 

Though Cash and Vanessa can’t deny their attraction, a future together seems impossible . . . If only they could remember the past.
